Responsibilities

Accepts deposits and cashes checks to customers’ accounts

Cross-sells the Bank’s services and products

Processes night deposit bags

Sells cashier’s checks and money orders

Redeems U.S. Savings Bonds

Accepts loan payments and safe deposit box rent payments

Answers customer inquiries and gives balances

Balances transactions at end of day and verifies cash

Adheres to the policies and procedures of the Bank and complies with all banking laws, rules and regulations

Open and process accurately and in a timely manner: Checking accounts, Savings accounts, Certificates of Deposit, Individual Retirement Accounts

Cross sell Bank services and products appropriate to customer’s needs

Research and verify account information

Answer questions and solve problems for customers

Maintain current knowledge of technology used by the Bank

Monitor overdrafts and perform related duties as requested by Manager

Order personal and corporate checks and related supplies

Prepare necessary correspondence and provide thorough

May be cross trained as Head Teller

Performs other duties as assigned
