2+ years expCAMS is seeking a Temporary Staff Accountant to support their Sr. Accountant in managing accounting functions and reporting for three gas power plants. This role will assist with core accounting tasks and ensure timely, accurate financial processes during a short-term engagement.

Responsibilities
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
Prepare monthly recurring journal entries
Update cash account rollforward schedules
Review AP invoice batches
Monitor AR aging reports
Prepare wire transfer requests
File sales and use tax returns
Complete simple ad-hoc requests and research as needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of general accounting experience
Strong understanding of journal entries, reconciliations, and AP/AR processes
Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Commitment to 3 months of service
