Unity Health is seeking an Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services to provide system-wide leadership for their cardiovascular services. The role focuses on ensuring quality care, operational excellence, and strategic vision for the heart and vascular service line across Unity Health sites.

Responsibilities

Provides system-wide leadership for Unity Health’s cardiovascular services with a focus on the continuum of care for cardiovascular patients

Includes the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Cardiology Clinic and related inpatient/ambulatory programs (e.g., non-invasive imaging, heart failure, electrophysiology, chest pain pathways, cardiac rehab)

Provides clinical and administrative strategic vision for the heart and vascular service line while ensuring plans align with tactical programming and implementation

Accountable for strategy, clinical quality, patient safety, access, patient experience, operational excellence, workforce, financial performance, growth, scheduling assistance with associates, physician coverage as needed and regulatory compliance across Unity Health sites

Develops a working relationship with both CHI and the cardiologist

Drives the cardiovascular service line, looks for growth opportunities, ensures return on investment with the service line and maintains quality of care for the patients

Required

Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field required

5+ years of progressive leadership in cardiovascular services, with direct oversight of Cath Lab and ambulatory cardiology operations

Working knowledge of CMS, respective accrediting agencies, Arkansas Department of Health Regulations, and cardiology accreditation/registry frameworks (IAC, NCDR)

Delivers appropriate care to patients from neonatal through geriatrics with regards to age specific considerations

Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, associates, patients, and visitors
