Responsibilities
Provide system-wide leadership for Unity Health’s cardiovascular services with a focus on the continuum of care for cardiovascular patients
Oversee the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Cardiology Clinic and related inpatient/ambulatory programs
Provide clinical and administrative strategic vision for the heart and vascular service line while ensuring plans align with tactical programming and implementation
Accountable for strategy, clinical quality, patient safety, access, patient experience, operational excellence, workforce, financial performance, growth, scheduling assistance with associates, physician coverage as needed and regulatory compliance across Unity Health sites
Develop a working relationship with cardiologists due to the relationship between CHI and the cardiologist
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field
5+ years of progressive leadership in cardiovascular services
Direct oversight of Cath Lab and ambulatory cardiology operations
Proven performance in quality improvement, throughput, financial stewardship, and physician collaboration
Working knowledge of CMS, respective accrediting agencies, Arkansas Department of Health Regulations, and cardiology accreditation/registry frameworks (IAC, NCDR)
Ability to deliver appropriate care to patients from neonatal through geriatrics with regards to age specific considerations
Effective communication skills with physicians, associates, patients, and visitors
Preferred
Master's degree (MHA, MBA, MPH, MSN)
Clinical licensure/background (RN, RT(R))
Lean/Six Sigma or PMP
Experience in EP or Structural Heart program development
