Responsibilities
Manage 30–50 active litigation matters independently
Appear in court regularly across Northern Virginia
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
Communicate directly and proactively with clients
Delegate effectively to paralegals and legal assistants
Track time and cases accurately (Clio preferred)
Operate with professionalism, composure, and follow-through
Qualification
Required
2–4+ years of litigation experience
Family law and/or criminal defense background
Active Virginia Bar license (in good standing)
Courtroom confidence and strong legal writing skills
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Reliable transportation for court appearances
Preferred
Experience with Clio
Exposure to estate planning or VA disability matters
Guardian ad litem experience
Portable book of business (not required)
