Responsibilities

We are seeking a Junior Patent Attorney or Patent Agent with international patent experience to join our team
Exposure to Chinese patent law is highly desirable
This role will primarily focus on patent clearance activities (Freedom to Operate) and the preparation of patentability, validity, and infringement opinions
A background in Chemistry or Materials Science is preferred, though candidates with Mechanical Engineering or Biotechnology experience will also be considered
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions and demonstrate flexibility in supporting global patent matters

Required

Experience in international patent work; exposure to China patent law is a strong plus
Hands-on experience with patent clearance (FTO) and patent opinion drafting
Ability to work across jurisdictions and collaborate with global stakeholders
Strong analytical and written communication skills

Preferred

Exposure to Chinese patent law is highly desirable
Technical background in Chemistry or Materials preferred; Mechanical or Biotech acceptable
