Strategic Account Manager

Responsibilities
Effectively manage and nurture relationships at the enterprise level as well as mid-management levels
Responsible for developing the forecasts for each assigned account
Identify opportunities for customers to realize the value of Esper premium products (analytics, custom firmware, device validation, multiple OS configurations), and professional services offerings
Manage customer renewals and expansion opportunities to achieve a defined net revenue retention target
Monitor and assess the health of customer accounts, proactively addressing any issues to ensure a positive customer experience
Design and conduct an effective QBR process, in close partnership with the Technical Implementation Management team
Engage with VP+ level executive sponsors at Esper’s largest clients, to demonstrate the business value of their investments and uncover opportunities for expanded ROI
Serve as an internal customer ambassador who raises customer empathy and advocates on the customer's behalf, within Product & Engineering, and other Go to Market functions
Facilitate communication between the customer and internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues
Qualification
Required
3+ years of Sales Engineering or Technical Consulting experience
4+ years of demonstrated success in SaaS technical sales and/or account management
Demonstrated experience in leveraging nuanced, technically complex products to drive business outcomes for clients
Aptitude for learning technical concepts/terms (Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus)
Proven track record of performance (top 10-20% of company) in past sales positions
