Program Assistant, Future of Money, GeoEconomics Center
The Atlantic Council seeks an enthusiastic organizer, thinker, and communicator for a full-time Program Assistant position in its GeoEconomics Center. This role will support the Future of Money pillar, focusing on research, data visualization, and event coordination related to digital finance and economic challenges.

Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth research to support the Future of Money’s trackers and core research initiatives
Manage program contacts, stakeholder lists, program metrics, and assist with maintaining internal tracking tools and deadlines
Draft correspondence and support logistics for program events, briefings, and convenings, including coordination with internal teams and external partners
Take detailed notes and prepare concise briefings and summaries for events, hearings, and meetings attended by the program
Assist in the strategic planning and execution of meetings, workshops, and roundtables, including agenda development and participant coordination
Support the drafting, editing, and proofreading of policy briefs, reports, background memos, and other internal and external materials
Assist with communications and outreach efforts, including supporting social media content and communications strategy around major conferences and events
Help manage Future of Money Young Global Professional interns
Support program leadership in the development and execution of research projects related to the Future of Money portfolio, including but not limited to cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, CBDCs, and payment systems
Conduct targeted research on economic, financial, and geopolitical developments relevant to the Future of Money’s workstreams
Contribute to concept notes, project proposals, and analytical outputs in close coordination with the program’s Associate Director and Senior Director
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, international relations, or other relevant fields
Inclusive of internships, 1+ year relevant work experience, ideally within research environments
Demonstrated interest in digital currencies, payment systems, the Bretton Woods Institutions, and/or related areas
Exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills
Superlative organizational, logistical, and administrative skills, as well as an eye for detail
Strong interpersonal skills, including an ability to work well in a team and to communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders
Comfortable juggling priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
Experience with event organization, coordination, and execution
Experience with content creation and social media management
Preferred
Facility with large data set interpretation highly desired
Data visualization and graphic design skills are highly desired
Previous communications experience an advantage but not required
