Responsibilities

Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material as needed
Transport and set-in-place Commercial Water Heaters weighing up to 90lbs
Conduct residential and business deliveries using the Commercial Water Heater truck (and other vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating or Gross Combination Weight Rating of greater than or less than 26k lbs.). Operate the lift gate and pipe rack in accordance with training
Perform all assigned tasks concerning Commercial Water Heaters including managing time on job sites, timely deliveries, installation, and safety in all aspects of the delivery
Communicate immediately with supervisor if a scheduled delivery is going to be late so that the customer can be alerted
Interact with customers and associates with a high level of customer service
Respond to after hours calls unless a leave request has been approved by supervisor (understand that most deliveries must be completed within 2-3 hours of the order entry)

Required

1-3 years of warehouse experience in picking, shipping, receiving, or inventory is preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid State issued Class C license is required
Follow all DOT standards and regulations
Qualified to drive Non-CDL Trucks and possess a DOT Medical Card
Good communication skills
Problem solving and listening skills
Organizational and time management skills
The ability to take care of a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge
Ability to independently lift 90+ pound objects frequently and 50+ pound objects occasionally
Pre-employment drug and background screening required

Preferred

Experience with RF scanners and some exposure to forklifts is a plus
Familiarity with our products is a plus
