Responsibilities
Collaborate with product management and design teams to understand business needs, growth objectives, and market dynamics
Create a culture of innovation and technical excellence, encouraging experimentation and exploring new opportunities for company growth
Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, automation, tools, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and quality
Provide strong leadership to the engineering team, enabling a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the engineering teams, holding individuals accountable for their deliverables
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience working as Software Engineering Manager within a high performing Engineering organization, but flexible depending on technical leadership experience
8+ years of experience in software development and delivery owning a highly visible and large technical scope and an in-depth knowledge of software architectures
Experience in building and managing large scale software applications in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Ideally looking for a B.A. / B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
You're technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks (we use Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Postgres, Kafka, Kubernetes)
