Responsibilities

Execute verification, validation, and risk reduction testing according to approved protocols and procedures

Support testing activities across the entire product lifecycle, including concept, development, and V&V phases

Perform mechanical and functional testing , including operation of Instron testing equipment

Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues related to test setup, execution, and data collection

Accurately document test results, observations, and deviations in accordance with quality standards

Manage multiple testing assignments while prioritizing tasks to meet project timelines

Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, and validation teams to support project objectives

Provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring to junior technicians as needed

Assist in maintaining compliance with established test methods, protocols, and safety requirements

Support continuous improvement efforts related to testing processes and methodologies

Required

Hands-on experience with testing in a regulated environment (medical device preferred)

Strong understanding of verification & validation (V&V) and risk-based testing principles

Experience operating Instron or similar mechanical testing systems

Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical testing issues

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Excellent attention to detail and documentation rigor

Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
