Responsibilities

Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts while actively developing new corporate B2B and local/state government customers
Prospect, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities with a strong hunter mentality
Prepare, write, and submit accurate and professional proposals and bid responses
Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries, proposals, and requests
Follow up on all sales leads to drive opportunities through the sales pipeline
Represent and promote the organization’s products, services, and solutions
Maintain accurate and detailed customer and opportunity records in a CRM system
Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals
Deliver sales presentations to customers and internal stakeholders as needed
Build and maintain strong knowledge of all product lines and services offered
Identify and participate in role-specific training and professional development opportunities
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Prior experience in customer relations, marketing, or sales communications
Strong background in sales, customer service, and/or cold calling
Demonstrated ability to prospect, close, and grow accounts in a competitive environment
Self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven with a strong “hunter” mindset
High level of personal and professional integrity
Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
Growth-oriented mindset with strong business ethics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
5+ years of sales experience in AV, IT, telecommunications, or related technology fields
