Akkodis is seeking a Sales Operations Support Specialist for a Direct Hire role based in Richardson, TX. The Sales Operations Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by managing day-to-day activities for existing customer accounts and providing inside sales support.

Responsibilities

Provide sales and operational support for existing customer accounts

Serve as inside sales support, assisting field sales with quotes, order processing, and customer communications

Collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to support technical inquiries and product configurations

Prepare and maintain pricing, quotes, sales documentation, and order details

Track orders, shipments, and customer requests to ensure timely fulfillment

Maintain accurate customer and sales data in CRM and internal systems

Assist with forecasting, reporting, and sales process optimization

Support issue resolution related to orders, pricing, or technical questions

Required

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales support role in an engineering environment

Strong technical foundation and the ability to translate customer needs into accurate quotes, documentation, and solutions

Experience supporting technical products such as components, hardware, electronics, etc

Experience working with CRM, ERP, or order management systems

Experience in sales support, sales operations, or inside sales

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineered products

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent documentation skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

Prior experience supporting technical or engineered sales environments
