Qualification
Required
Ability to deliver excellent customer service by communicating verbally and in writing
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and ask for clarification when needed
Ability to analyze problems, provide alternatives, and identify solutions in support of established goals
Ability to update and maintain departmental records and filing systems
Must be an independent, self-starter and be able to listen to citizen complaints and concerns
Knowledge in departmental operations relative to the area of assignment
Basic knowledge of conference center facility equipment
Ability to set priorities, make independent judgments, and multitask
Ability to understand event layout and customer needs
High school graduate or equivalent with three (3) year experience in a public facility or other service-focused hospitality position; OR
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
A Valid Class C Texas driver's license and the ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record
