In this role, you will build and lead a team to enhance Grindr's operational capabilities and drive strategic initiatives that support business growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

Translate Grindr’s commercial strategy into a clear operational strategy, ensuring our approach to operations and organizational capabilities enable execution at scale

Serve as a strategic advisor and operational partner to our executive team

Lead initiatives that improve how the company operates - raising accountability, alignment, and management discipline

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and launch new business capabilities from the ground up, transforming strategic priorities into scalable processes, tools, and structures

Build out our BizOps function to streamline processes, create ownership, and increase executive leverage

Drive operational planning, performance tracking, and cross-functional initiatives that ensure the company runs smoothly and efficiently

Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, decentralization issues, and execution gaps

Required

Proven track record as a business-oriented leader with 4-10 years of experience in a combination strategic and operational roles

Experience in scaling fast-growing companies, ideally in consumer tech or media

Strong generalist business acumen - comfortable with financials, commercial strategy, and operational decision-making

Strategic thinker with a bias toward action. You're comfortable moving from analysis to execution in ambiguous settings

Ability to synthesize and communicate complex topics, clearly and concisely

Excellent communication, influence, and leadership skills; able to align executives and inspire teams

A passion for Grindr's mission and a deep respect for LGBTQ+ culture and community
