Desktop Support Specialist
Liebherr USA is a successful international company seeking a Desktop Support Specialist. This role serves as the central point of contact for IT-related incidents and service requests, providing first line support and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.

Responsibilities
Perform onsite desk side support as first call to troubleshoot and resolve all desktop/laptop issues for end users
Schedule, deliver and install hardware, software and related equipment in a Windows based environment and provide system support and network connection
Maintain and account for inventory of IT components and record, track and escalate calls through established tracking system
Provides a high standard of desktop service and maintains quality workmanship standards by utilizing efficient process procedures and operations
Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position
Provide dedicated onsite technical support in diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing basic hardware, software and peripherals
Ensure quality service and customer satisfaction for critical first-time resolution of calls
Knowledge of how to assemble and disassemble personal computer components, including cabling
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED with 0-1 years of relevant position-related experience; or 1-2 years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience
Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job
Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area
May require 0-1 year of general work experience
Works under moderate supervision
Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline
Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience
Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function
Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job
Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience
