Responsibilities

Support the development and testing of AI tools, scripts, and automations that enhance productivity and collaboration
Assist in building and maintaining AI agents to optimize workflows across engineering, project management, and operations
Prototype and deploy machine learning or natural language processing (NLP) models for internal use cases
Research and evaluate new AI frameworks, APIs, and technologies (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, Anthropic, Hugging Face) for potential adoption
Collaborate with the software and systems engineering teams to integrate AI features into existing tools and data systems
Support documentation, version control, and deployment of AI-driven applications
Analyze user feedback to improve AI model performance and tool usability
Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to identify high-impact automation opportunities
Present findings and progress in weekly project meetings

Required

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
Foundational understanding of machine learning, NLP, and generative AI concepts
Proficiency in Python, with familiarity using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or LangChain
Experience working with APIs, automation tools, and AI SDKs (e.g., OpenAI API, Hugging Face, Anthropic, Zapier, Make)
Strong problem-solving skills and an experimental, iterative approach to development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize technical work for non-technical audiences
Interest in automation, productivity tooling, and the application of AI to industrial or energy systems
Curiosity, creativity, and a self-starter mindset suited to a fast-paced, innovative environment
Passion for clean energy and the intersection of artificial intelligence with sustainable technology
