Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls, using proper telephone etiquette to assist patients and direct inquiries appropriately
Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments to support clinic flow and provider availability
Perform clerical and administrative tasks, including drafting documents, correspondence, agendas, and other departmental materials as requested
Provide calendar management and scheduling support for departmental leadership, including coordination of meetings and reminders
Assist with maintaining accurate patient and administrative records within Dentrix and Epic
Support front desk operations as needed to ensure efficient patient check-in, communication, and overall clinic operations
Track and organize departmental information, including schedules, documents, and office-related requests
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned to support clinic and departmental needs

Required

High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to read, write, and speak English required
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional phone presence and customer service skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling patient and administrative information
Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and handle confidential information appropriately

Preferred

Prior experience in a dental or medical office setting preferred
Experience with scheduling, phone-based customer service, or administrative support strongly preferred
Dental billing experience is a plus but not required
Spanish-speaking proficiency strongly preferred
