Responsibilities
Coordinate with Business Relationship and DAS-Procurement teams to identify contracting requirements for RFIs, RFPs, etc
Establish objectives, procedures, templates, and workflows for vendor contracts and deliverable schedules (MSAs, SOWs, MOUs, Amendments)
Maintain a contract management database with executed and in-progress agreements, tracking obligations and deliverables
Collaborate with legal, risk management, and audit teams to ensure appropriate protections in contracts
Administer commercial and financial arrangements, including billing, invoicing, and performance incentives
Manage contract change control processes and vendor performance oversight
Continuously improve contract management processes and workflows
Track and analyze market trends and vendor data
Communicate clear contract overviews to stakeholders and provide clarity on key elements
Ensure competitive pricing and identify cooperative agreements
Manage contract review meetings, monitor milestones, and report on execution and risk
Qualification
Required
5+ years in Contract Management or Paralegal Work, with emphasis on technology or IT service agreements
5+ years in Negotiating and managing contract life cycles
5+ years in Knowledge of IT contract negotiation tactics and strategies
5+ years in Ability to assess contractual and financial exposure and negotiate effectively
5+ years in Bridging communication between IT and business organizations to structure contracts aligned with business goals
Bachelor's Degree or above in Business, Information Technology, Paralegal, or Pre-Law
Preferred
Knowledge of contracting trends, licensing models, and vendor performance models
Strong project and process management skills for handling multiple vendors and contracts
Ability to understand contract risks and develop mitigation strategies
