Communicating with sound judgment and superior written and verbal skills
Qualification
Required
4+ years of patent experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/life science field
Demonstrated experience in drafting and prosecuting pharmaceutical patent applications globally, as well as in conducting freedom to operate and patent invalidity and non-infringement analyses
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects
Superior written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with minimal supervision
Ability to distill complexity and to communicate decisively with sound judgment
Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
Preferred
Advanced degree in chemistry, biology, immunology, or biochemistry or substantial R&D experience is preferred. However, a bachelor's degree with additional experience as a practicing patent attorney would be considered
Experience as an in-house lawyer in small molecule chemistry is a plus
