Responsible for answering employee and vendor telephone orders and inquiries
Responsible for inventory control tracking
Maintaining the purchasing cycle by using purchase orders, requisitions and invoices
Reconcile invoices and receiving tickets
Prepare purchase orders or bid requests
Negotiates with vendors to procure the best price and the best delivery method
Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority
Ensure the safety and security of company information
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma or GED equivalent
One-year clerical experience
Preferred
College prep courses preferred
Computer experience preferred (Word, Excel, Outlook, Oracle or similar purchasing software)
