Help manage and oversee legal matters related to AvalonBay’s real estate and real estate investment activities
Focus on acquisitions, dispositions, developments, redevelopments, joint ventures, structured investments, and other complex development and investment vehicles
Provide advice to general questions and issues related to real estate matters and other legal issues, as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Minimum of at least 8 years of broad-based commercial real estate transactional experience obtained at a prominent law firm or sophisticated corporate legal department
Ability to manage and oversee legal matters related to real estate and real estate investment activities, including acquisitions, dispositions, developments, redevelopments, joint ventures, structured investments, and other complex development and investment vehicles
Ability to provide advice on general questions and issues related to real estate matters and other legal issues as appropriate
In-office role requiring four days per week onsite
