UFP Industries is seeking driven individuals to join their Production Management Trainee (PMT) Program, a launchpad for future leaders in manufacturing operations. The role involves hands-on training across plant operations, preparing trainees for key leadership roles in the Southeastern operations.

Responsibilities

Participate in structured, hands-on training across all aspects of plant operations
Learn product lines, production processes, safety standards, and business systems
Gain deep understanding of lumber grading, math, efficiency, cuts, and yields
Assist with production scheduling, cost tracking, and budget management
Support team supervision and ensure compliance with company policies
Contribute to Continuous Improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
Rotate through UFP facilities and customer sites for broad exposure
Complete required training modules, projects, and reports

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, industrial operations, supply chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Willingness to relocate within GA, FL, or NC for future roles
Interest in operations leadership and a desire to grow within UFP
