Business Development Intern

Responsibilities

Support Marketing/BD review of website by reviewing content for consistency and spelling
Identify potential medical affairs contacts on LinkedIn and proactively reach out to provide TMAC services information
Support development of new graphics (visuals/charts) in BD presentations that will then be incorporated into approved templates
Company Profiling: Compile lists of biopharma companies, their pipelines, and therapeutic areas
Competitive Analysis: Track competitors offering medical affairs services and summarize differentiators
Prospect Identification: Use LinkedIn, industry databases (e.g., Pharma Intelligence, BioPharm Insight) to find decision-makers in Medical Affairs
Email Verification: Validate email addresses using tools like Hunter or ZoomInfo
Draft Outreach Templates: Help create personalized email drafts for cold outreach or follow-ups
Shadow Calls: Listen to BD calls to understand client pain points and service positioning
Medical Affairs Basics: Review internal training materials on services like MSL deployment, scientific communication, and compliance

Required

Pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related discipline
Professional oral and written communications skills, attention to detail with excellent organizational capabilities
Ability to incorporate feedback as requested
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office/O365/Teams (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Internet Explorer, database systems
