Responsibilities
Oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, shipping, and logistics coordination
Maintain a smooth, efficient workflow across all operational areas while ensuring accuracy, productivity, and compliance with established standards
Track all inbound and outbound shipments, ensure inventory accuracy, and monitor stock levels using WMS and ERP systems
Manage daily warehouse activities such as quality assurance, distribution planning, space optimization, and overall floor productivity
Lead and supervise a team of 5–7 warehouse associates, ensuring strong performance, proper workload distribution, and adherence to operational expectations
Train and mentor team members on equipment usage, safety protocols, production processes, and SOP compliance
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Manage light production and assembly tasks, including plastic sheet cutting, product kitting, counting, and packaging
Ensure all production activities meet quality, accuracy, and customer standards
Implement and maintain SOPs, quality control measures, and operational best practices
Develop, track, and analyze KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve workflow efficiency
Ensure full compliance with state and federal safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility
Oversee the maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment, production tools, and company vehicles
Qualification
Required
Trade school certificate, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field
3–5 years of experience in a small or mid-sized warehouse environment (receiving, shipping, inventory, material handling, or light assembly)
2–3 years of supervisory or team-lead experience in warehouse operations
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel
Experience using WMS and ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
Strong understanding of KPIs, SOPs, and standard warehousing best practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with exceptional time-management abilities and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with flexibility in a fast-changing environment
Hands-on leader with a positive, proactive attitude
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies is preferred
