Field Education Manager

WorldStrides is the global leader in educational travel and experiential learning. The Field Education Manager is responsible for shepherding Course Leaders through their learning journey, designing field trainings, developing activities and resources, and providing individual support to Course Leaders.

Responsibilities

Assist with recruiting and interviewing prospective CLs
Manage ride alongs and small group trainings for new Course Leaders
Develop targeted small group trainings for returning CLs
Represent CL team in NY office, March-June, other dates as required
Support and incorporate LEAP education philosophy
Reinforce engagement strategies with CLs
Work with Curriculum and Academics to review/develop training materials
Support all CLs on program: itinerary questions, group management, etc
Evaluate CLs in the field
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures to serve as an effective resource for staff
Support company policies and management decisions with a sense of urgency and professionalism
Foster communication within the division, with other divisions and with management
Seek out and participate in internal and external programs that facilitate personal and professional growth
Identify and discuss personal and professional growth goals
Write and deliver self-performance appraisal on an annual basis
Develop and maintain a culture of teamwork, positive communication, and fulfilling the WorldStrides mission
