Responsibilities

Encompass a variety of substation design assignments including development of substation general arrangements, elevations, grounding plans, conduit plans, bus details, preparation of bill of materials as well as schematics and wiring diagrams based on guidance from the project engineer

Required

College degree in an acceptable curriculum or two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design, or a minimum of two years concentrated on the job experience in computer-aided drafting/design field

A minimum of 5 years of concentrated computer-aided drafting experience or sufficient CADD knowledge supplemented by industrial, construction or construction management

3D CADD experience (Micro Station or AutoCAD) is required

Proven effective verbal and written communication skills

Proven excellent level of interpersonal skills

Ability to work individually and on a team

Must be detail oriented and possess a high level of organizational skills

Proven ability to work with confidential information

Proven ability to exercise independent judgment
