They are hiring a Quality Engineer who will be responsible for investigating quality complaints, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring ISO compliance through internal audits and collaboration with production and process engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Actively supports the department by sustaining current processes while seeking opportunities for continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (SOPs, Work Instructions, Process Maps and Quality records) by thorough, and consistent review
Responsible for handling supplier claims and supporting on customer claims. Investigates and/or supervises the determination of root causes analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and provides feedback to Suppliers, Production, and the Quality Manager as needed
Responsible for all Quality related topics and corresponding documentation to and from suppliers such as PPAPs, 8D reports, Deviations and supplier requests
Supports sustainability of ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications by participating on yearly Internal Audits to all identified processes
Provides timely reports to Management on designated Quality KPIs
Qualification
Required
BS in Material Science or Engineering and/or equivalent comprehensive experience in the field
Experience with ISO certifications
Experience in QA tools such as PPAP, Process FMEA, Control Plan, Risk Assessment, Internal Audits, and Gauge Management and Calibration
Ability to travel to suppliers and other company locations as needed
Ability to work flexible work hours and overtime, as needed
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and extensive knowledge of LEAN tools and techniques for improvement
Experience in project management
Proficient in SAP, Factory Suite, data entry, daily/monthly reports, and MS Office is required
Preferred
Previous experience in a similar industry is beneficial
