Technical Business Analyst IlI
The University of Utah is seeking a Technical Business Analyst III to support research applications. This role focuses on designing and supporting systems without involvement in data analysis, requiring collaboration with end users and stakeholders to translate requirements into detailed specifications.

Translate product vision into detailed specifications for the development team
Align information technology systems with business operations by analyzing and developing innovative solutions
Engage end users and stakeholders to document and communicate organization requirements
Translate organization requirements and user needs into user stories
Create and update documentation of detailed technical specifications and project plans
Present user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, and process flow diagrams to the development team
Participate in meetings to clarify requirements, create design approaches, provide training, and answer questions from the development team
Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in discipline
Conduct work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgement
Qualification
Required
Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 6 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 4 years of directly related work experience
1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience
