Responsibilities
Creating user-centered designs through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
Using AI tools to speed up ideation, generate design variations, and support research
Collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers across the product lifecycle
Participating in user research and usability testing, and turning insights into design recommendations
Preparing design assets and specifications for development handoff
Reviewing user data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university program
Proficiency in Figma
Basic understanding of design systems and best practices
A curious and collaborative attitude
Preferred
Located in or near the Austin, Texas area
Experience conducting research and interviews
Experience in using AI inside design workflows
Strong visual design skills
