Responsibilities
Programs, sets up, and operates Doosan PUMA 3100 mill-turn, as well as horizontal and vertical CNC mills (Makino A51, Doosan HP4000, Makino F5, Haas VF-2, Haas Mini-Mills)
Creates, proves out, and optimizes CNC programs using Mastercam or similar CAM software
Develops efficient tool paths, speeds, feeds, and work holding strategies for precision production
Conducts machine setups, tool presetting, and offset adjustments for production and prototype runs
Interprets blueprints, GD&T, and processes sheets to ensure conformance to specifications
Performs part inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM reports as required
Troubleshoots machining issues, identifies process improvements, and collaborates with engineering and quality teams
Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas consistent with 5S and ISO standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3–5 years of CNC programming and operating experience, including multi-axis mill-turn and horizontal/vertical machining centers
Strong proficiency in Mastercam or equivalent CAM software
Experience with Doosan, Makino, and Haas machine controls (Fanuc and proprietary systems)
Deep understanding of G-code, tool selection, work offsets, and fixture design
Proven ability to read and apply GD&T and blueprint tolerancing
Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Preferred
Familiarity with ISO-9001 or ISO-13485 environments a plus
