vMOX is seeking a Cloud Administrator who is enthusiastic and detail-oriented. The role involves managing and maintaining cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance, while supporting user management and collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain key AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, AWS Secrets, ECS, RDS, and ELB
Monitor cloud systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance
Assist with deploying and configuring cloud resources, applying updates and security patches as needed
Support user management, access controls, and permissions through AWS IAM and SSO
Perform Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, Defender, Intune/Autopilot, and related services
Provide administration and support for Datadog, Druva, and Appgate
Conduct server administration and troubleshooting for Windows, Ubuntu, and CentOS environments
Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal reference
Collaborate with internal teams to support cloud operations and continuous improvement

Required

3–5 years of experience supporting and administering AWS cloud environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience in software development, systems administration, or IT support
Hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and RDS
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, subnets, NAT, and security groups)
Proficiency in both Linux and Windows server administration
Working knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for automation and troubleshooting
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog
Familiarity with Office 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, Intune/Autopilot, Defender)
Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality work
Effective communicator who can collaborate with internal teams and service providers

Preferred

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level certification
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) or basic scripting automation
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker) and CI/CD concepts
Exposure to security and endpoint management tools (e.g., SentinelOne, Tenable, Mimecast)
Understanding of common networking and infrastructure technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, or solutions like Meraki/Ubiquiti)
Experience with on-prem virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Proxmox
