Assisting the chair in service activities such as accreditation/assessment, student competition, student recruitment, course revision/improvement
Qualification
Required
Earned M.S. degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Construction, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering, by August 1, 2026
Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives
Commitment to engaging with best practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy, mentoring, and curriculum design and development
Preferred
Earned Ph.D. degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering
Professional experience and expertise in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
Teaching experience at a higher education institution
