Responsibilities
Frontline support to hold 3PW partners accountable to KPIs and contracted SLAs: measure and report out monthly; facilitate root cause and corrective actions
Analyze and report out on performance with root cause analysis work done monthly for gaps
Maintain working relationships with 3PW operations teams
Responsible for the timely investigation and support of all Business Unit concerns and questions regarding operations at corporate warehouses
Assist with creation of managed and controlled documents used to support 3PWs
Understand contracts and verify invoices and service provided match contract each month
Lead and participate in collaborative continuous improvement projects between 3PW partner and Avient
The first line of contact regarding questions concerns operational stakeholders
Timely respond and address internal Avient stakeholder’s concerns
The associate will need to be reachable during normal shifts. Some after-hours / weekend support may be required to support end of month shipping
Timely and accurate completion of warehouse complaints and claims
Become SME regarding all warehouse requirements
Responsible for Elyria OTA accuracy reporting and driving improvements
Facilitate swift resolution of IT system, and new user issues with appropriate stakeholders
Attend and participate in all required meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Provide timely progress updates to Domestic Logistics Manager
Appropriately escalate issues to all internal and external stakeholders
Participate in any warehouse or corporate audits as required
Participate in warehouse expansion projects as required through analysis and research, as well as participate in Sourcing RFP work
Support successful warehouse on-boarding activities with internal and external stakeholders. Including 3PW user system set up, IT hardware and network requirements, process training and hypercare as needed
Regular on-site visits to 3PW sites
Other duties as assigned
Work closely with the Global Logistics Manager to develop monthly reporting on Logistics Services for the Avient business units
Work collaboratively with 3rd party logistics providers for transportation and warehousing to report on monthly costs and services
Manage Logistics Customer Complaint review and reconciliation process across all business units. Investigate root cause of problem with warehouse and/or carrier, develop corrective action plans, and communicate via correspondence with customer
Support LSS initiatives and projects to improve processes and performance
Manage Avient's leased car fleet; determine vehicle specifications, lease rates, vehicle acquisition, vehicle assignment, licensing, insurance, IRS tax reporting and vehicle disposal process to minimize overall leasing costs to Company. Negotiate lease car contract, manufacturer's Competitive Assistance Program, and manage leased car bid process. Provide monthly reporting to senior management and HR managers
Enter purchase orders into Ariba system, await approvals, audit and approve invoices for outside third parties, Schneider and DTZ locations
Qualification
Required
Bachelors – Business Admin or equivalent experience
Warehouse Experience - 3 years of experience
SAP experience – intermediate
Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word – intermediate
