Responsibilities
Monitor the completion of outbound shipments
Review opportunities for consolidation of pallets on a shipment
Verify/audit accuracy of staged orders prior to releasing orders for loading/shipment
Print shipping labels and affix them to their respective pallets
Print packing lists and affix them to their respective shipments
Enter various data related to shipping documents into the automated Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Qualification
Required

Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or zero to one years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as routing guides, carrier documents, etc
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively with all employees of organization and outside vendors as necessary
Must apply concepts of basic math and perform various calculations
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer skills including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred
Proficiency in SAP is preferred as daily use of SAP may be required in this position
