Expleo USA is seeking a Special Service Vehicle Accessory Engineer to join their client’s team in Troy, MI. In this high-impact role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, validate, and launch innovative vehicle accessories for special service vehicles.

Responsibilities

Partner with brand planning and strategy teams to develop new feature ideas

Conduct initial design and feasibility studies with Electrical, Interior/Exterior Product teams, Vehicle Integration, and Product Design Office

Create Source Package documents and support Mopar Purchasing in reviewing technical submissions from suppliers

Lead vehicle test and validation activities based on component and vehicle DVP validation plans

Host weekly engineering development meetings with suppliers and Mopar team members

Track and manage part timing to ensure on-time launch and manage releasing of changes on vehicle systems and components

Support component supplier development activities and ensure compliance with design and manufacturing processes
