They are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to manage Quality Assurance aspects of Procurement and Manufacturing for various programs, ensuring compliance and supporting production processes.

Responsibilities

Support project and manufacturing planning to include personnel assignments, work efforts, customer requirements, deliverables development, and tracking

Support Contract Review, Purchase Orders, Receiving Inspection and Inventory management activities related to specific program procurements

Create/Review Manufacture Work Instructions

Coordinate and track nonconformances, lead root cause analysis/investigations and champion "Continuous Improvement"

Instruct employees regarding Quality procedures and requirements when working with Material compliance, acceptance and production

Performs other related duties as assigned, such as Production support/inspection of product

Required

B.S. in Engineering or Sciences with minimum 5 years of experience. M.S. in Engineering or Sciences may substitute for years of experience

Must be a US Persons

Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information; having dual citizenship may preclude you from meeting this requirement

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Excellent problem-solving ability

Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, documenting processes, and presenting findings

Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain

Ability to collaborate with suppliers and customers

Familiarity with document control processes and maintaining quality records
