Responsibilities
Maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with TNI accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
Oversee the creation, review, and management of all laboratory documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and records, ensuring compliance with TNI guidelines
Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that all laboratory personnel are adequately trained in quality assurance procedures, methods, and regulatory requirements
Plan and conduct regular internal audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) as necessary
Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits, inspections, and accreditation assessments conducted by regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies, ensuring successful outcomes
Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing laboratory processes, systems, and performance metrics to drive efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with laboratory operations, ensuring that potential quality issues are proactively addressed and managed
Collaborate with laboratory management and staff to address customer inquiries, concerns, and non-conformances related to quality assurance matters, implementing corrective actions as needed
Stay abreast of changes in regulations, standards, and best practices related to environmental testing and quality assurance, and ensure that laboratory operations remain in compliance at all times
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, environmental science) required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality management within an environmental laboratory setting, with a thorough understanding of TNI accreditation requirements
Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools
Experience in leading internal and external audits, inspections, and accreditation assessments
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
advanced degree
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar certification preferred but not required
