They are seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead process engineering deliverables and ensure successful execution of process engineering design activities for the Hudbay Project.

Responsibilities

Lead process engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, and process equipment specifications

Drive metallurgical evaluation and peer review of estimates, schedules, proposals, and designs

Support and mentor process engineers and designers, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client requirements

Provide technical expertise during commissioning, troubleshooting, and operations support

Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and clients to ensure integrated project execution

Manage design mark-ups, redlines, and discipline sign-off for engineering deliverables

Lead presentations and provide input for business development and proposals

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements in all process designs

Maintain awareness of technical advances and innovation within mineral processing
