Stationary & Integration Fuel Cell Technician

The role of Stationary & Integration Fuel Cell Technician involves troubleshooting and maintaining generators and related equipment, requiring extensive knowledge in electrical systems and fuel cell technology.

Responsibilities
Minimum 4-Years of experience as a Power Plant Technician, Generator Technician or experience from a transferable industry
Experienced utilizing instrumentation & controls for generators, compressors, motors, etc
Experience in troubleshooting generators and/or various equipment including mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, PLC's, etc
Ideal candidate would have knowledge & experience in inspecting, testing, diagnosis & repair of natural gas, electric-diesel generators, automatic transfer switches, etc
High voltage and low voltage experience is a must
High voltage certification (1000V AC / DC) is a plus
Knowledge of Fuel Cell systems is a plus
Ability to read and understand technical manuals, wiring diagrams (for systems and instrumentation)
Experience in commissioning new equipment such as generators
Meet or exceed the following criteria: Good driving record – no accidents & no traffic violations within the last 3-years
Proficient w/Windows, email, MS Word, Excel (agency to submit results of a computer aptitude test demonstrating experience level)
Excellent communication & organizational skills
Experience driving an M/T vehicle is a plus
Strong understanding & working level knowledge of commercial / industrial electrical systems. Vehicle electrical system diagnosis & repair is plus
Works well independently - without direct supervision
Capable of adapting to a continuously changing work environment – including at remote test locations or customer sites
Fabrication experience (i.e., machine shop, welding (MIG & TIG), etc.)
