Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior
Report and document any incidents, observations, or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and client procedures
Assist with crowd management and help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities within the retail environment
Collaborate with store management and other team members to address security-related concerns and promote a welcoming atmosphere for customers
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Alarm panel experience is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
CPR or first aid certification is preferred
