QAPI Department Bachelor Level Intern

Circle of Care for Families and Children of Passaic County, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting children and their families in Passaic County. The QAPI Department Bachelor Level Intern will gain experience in a youth-serving organization by working closely with the Compliance Analyst and QAPI Director to learn about privacy, electronic health records, and the NJ Children's System of Care.

Responsibilities

Maintain high integrity while modeling the core values of Circle of Care
Review completeness of Electronic Health Records
Assure accuracy and catalog specific consents, as needed
Assess accuracy of documentation
Review and preparing documents for shredding
Locate and merge duplicate charts
Provide support as needed, i.e. administrative, outreach to confirm service delivery
Comply with all State regulations (e.g. Medicaid, HIPPA) and Agency standards including but not limited to: quality and timeliness of all required documentation
Attend QAPI Team meetings
Attend trainings as assigned

Required

Current enrollment in Bachelor's Degree Program in a relevant discipline (e.g. child advocacy, public health, social work, counseling, psychology, public policy, non-profit administration, business, computer science, or criminal justice)
