Responsibilities

Sets-up and operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines as needed or required. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to assure the quality of parts being produced. Coordinates production to meet schedules and ensures that company policies and procedures are followed at all times, paying particular attention to safety, quality and maintenance of equipment

Oversees and assures that proper maintenance and care is taken on all CNC tooling and fixtures

Works closely with CNC Programmer to foster teamwork and ensure correctness and accuracy of CNC programs. Ensures that all programming changes or modifications that are implemented at the machining center are clearly communicated to the CNC Programmer and the appropriate files are updated accordingly

Performs other duties as assigned or required

This position is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the non-exempt operators, programmers and team leads

The supervisor will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, such as: interviewing, hiring, training, and developing employees, planning, assigning, and directing work

Appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
