Human Resources Senior Manager

FanDuel is seeking an experienced HR professional to join the People team and help shape the next phase of their hyper growth. The HR Senior Manager will provide strategic HR guidance, support departmental goals within the Technology organization, and drive various HR initiatives while acting as the lead HR representative for the Atlanta office.

Responsibilities

Understand the intricacies of the Technology employee population to successfully support the growth and demands of this fast-paced organization
Work autonomously as the HR site leader for the Atlanta office
Partner with assigned people leaders and their respective teams and serve as strategic advisor on all People matters by understanding their unique priorities and objectives and aligning that to the HR agenda for the overall business unit / functional department
Proactively collaborate with our People Team COEs to provide first class strategic business solutioning. Provide responsive and quality support, addressing the needs of employees and leaders within client groups
Leverage key partners in Legal, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Finance to deliver solutions for the teams you support. This is typically done through developing strong relationships cross functionally
Coach and support the development of people leaders through employee life cycle process execution and by providing best practices and guidance in navigating difficult conversations, resolving employment issues and overall performance management principles
Drive headcount planning, in partnership with assigned leaders, and through intentional org design with a balance of current and future capability needs. Ensure adherence to process for needed approvals. Ensure accurate data and budget tracking of headcount. Influence sound financial decision making
Execute organizational development and reorganization initiatives with a high level of autonomy. Lead planning, execution and change management with department leadership and ensure a compliant and fair employee experience
Support change management efforts. Collaborate with other People team members to effectively communicate and land broader organizational changes by advocating for your group’s specific needs and facilitating company-wide communications and trainings
Own talent development and advancement within your client group with a high level of autonomy, leveraging knowledge of roles performed and the talent within your client groups
Support and resolve, as appropriate, employee relations cases of increased complexity and recommend appropriate actions in partnership with key stakeholders (management, internal employment counsel, ER Director, etc.). Ensure issue escalation for visibility, as needed
Effectively leverage HR and business acumen to challenge or influence leadership in decision making process. Continuously build relevant business / team knowledge
Prepare and present relevant data analytics and dashboards to support business strategy. Analyze and generate insights relevant to the business
Support culture and DE&I initiatives to promote a positive work environment. Proactively identify and implement HR strategies to drive employee motivation and engagement within the teams you support ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and our FD principles
Deliver annual core HR processes for assigned client groups including YE performance management processes, goal setting, compensation planning, D&I initiatives, learning and development offerings, employee engagement survey, etc
Identify and initiate development and refinement of HR policies, processes and procedures. Keep up to date with HR best practice and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
Communicate clearly with executive management (including C suite), escalating issues in a clear and compelling way with solution options and recommendations
Be a champion of FanDuel Culture and FanDuel Principles and encourage managers and employees to incorporate in their day to day
Other duties may be assigned to fulfill FanDuel Group objectives and/or job duties and requirements may be changed as needed to meet current and future business needs

Required

Minimum of 7 years' experience in a Human Resources related field
College degree in related business field, preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and think clearly under pressure
Strong competency within the HR function: succession planning, org design, coaching, recognition programs, talent management, communications, compensation, and change management
Methodical & Strategic approach to problem solving
Demonstrated ability to leverage Data & Insights to influence decision making
Change Management Experience
Strong relationship building and influencing skills
Stakeholder management skills – skilled at setting expectations and delivering tough messages
Strong Commercial/Business acumen – How to translate business strategy into HR related programs and initiatives
Agility and adaptability – Capability to pivot and manage change as well as move quickly to provide a competitive advantage
The ability to travel between regional offices, as needed
Working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws pertaining to the employment relationship
Strong process management skills
