Vice President
The MIL Corporation seeks a Vice President to develop new business in the Federal Civilian sector focused on Financial Services offerings. This role involves leadership in P&L management, revenue growth, and collaborative business development within the federal market.

Responsibilities
The Vice President will be directly responsible for P&L, revenue growth, and successfully executing projects and programs to completion within scope and budget. Required competencies include:
Leadership – Strong executive-level leadership with an ability to develop and drive business development and capture. S/he will manage large client teams and be well-regarded by staff, peers, leadership as well as industry thought leaders, and will have demonstrated the ability and willingness to collaborate across organization business units to meet broader objectives
Client/Market Development – Work collaboratively with other sectors to identify, lead, and capture new contract opportunities by leveraging client relationships, with a demonstrated competency across all phases of the business development/capture lifecycle. Strong client relationships in the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Veterans Affairs and USDA are strongly desired
Relationship Building – Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships across internal and external contacts as well as teaming partners
Business Management – Experience across all aspects of business management including profit/loss responsibility and accountability for results

Required
Ability to Obtain a Secret
BA/BS
US Citizenship: Required
30+ years of experience in the public sector market defining, establishing, and leading solution delivery with a proven track record of success
Established network of senior-level relationships within the federal CFO community
Broad knowledge of processes in the Federal acquisition, budgeting and accounting environment
Experience managing large, complex project teams, delivering solutions to government organizations
Ability to identify new opportunities for government solutions; managing full life-cycle business development capture; and managing the profitability of engagement teams
Ability to identify and qualify opportunities, develop capture plans and win strategies, and implement effective teaming approaches
Sound strategic planning, financial management, budgeting, procurement, compliance, negotiation and risk management skills
Excellent communication, presentation, delivery and leadership skills
A self-starter, creative, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and results-driven
CPA, CGFM and PMP certifications
BA/BS - Accounting
Must be eligible to obtain clearance
Preferred
Experience leading multi-million-dollar programs with full P&L responsibility
Proven ability to build high-performing teams and mentor senior leaders
Active participation in industry associations, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives related to federal financial management and acquisition
