Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims to carriers through direct or intermediary channels
Communicate with insureds to confirm successful claim reporting and provide carrier contact information when needed
Manage and maintain loss information from insureds, claimants, producers, and carrier portals
Conduct needs analyses on commercial lines policies and verify active coverage
Lead all communication with insureds throughout the claim reporting process
Develop and maintain internal claim files and prepare ACORD forms for carrier submission
Monitor claims closely, ensuring consistent follow‑up with adjusters and all relevant parties
Partner with producers and clients to determine interest in claim review summaries and manage timelines for delivery
Collaborate with insureds, producers, and loss control teams on programs such as light duty and return‑to‑work initiatives
Facilitate the exchange of claims‑related information between clients and carriers
Review loss runs for accuracy and provide summaries to the marketing team when needed
Communicate promptly with producers and insureds regarding reserve changes exceeding $10,000 or other defined thresholds
Maintain an up‑to‑date insurance company contact information booklet
Build strong client relationships through proactive, anticipatory communication
Execute all responsibilities with precision and adherence to corporate standards
Qualification
Required
2+ years of Property & Casualty experience (agency or carrier background welcome)
Active P&C license required
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Availability to work EST hours
