Responsibilities
Preparation of scaled plans, sections, and drawings using AutoCAD
Gather data from existing drawings, rough sketches, surveys, and/or from general engineering and design information
Work closely with Drafters and Managers to ensure a coordinated design
Apply standard drafting/design principles to complete assignments
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting and the latest AutoCAD software version
Applicants will be required to demonstrate skills in AutoCAD related activities at time of interview
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Must have dependable transportation
Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skill
Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
A minimum of 2 years' experience with AutoCAD Civil3D drafting
Preferred
Associates of Applied Science in Computer Aided Drafting and Design and/or AutoCAD Certificate of Completion
Telecommunication based Permit Drafting experience
