Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
Observe and report any security-related issues or irregularities encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and interacting with visitors as appropriate
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during critical incidents
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal policies
Qualification
Required
An armed guard card or license is required
Level III armed certification for Texas is required
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
