Project Manager/Owners Representative
DJCA Cornerstone LLC is a family-oriented firm specializing in representing owners in construction and development projects. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Owner’s Representative to oversee all aspects of construction projects from concept through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee design, permitting, and construction phases
Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables from start to finish
Review and approve invoices, progress billings, and change orders
Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and design professionals
Lead and document project meetings; maintain action item lists
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, code compliance, and safety
Track submittals, RFIs, and approvals
Manage specific project scopes such as FF&E procurement
Prepare and distribute weekly project updates with progress photos
Support design development, CAD documentation, and code review
Review shop drawings, material samples, and estimates
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager in construction or development
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project; AutoCAD experience is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
General knowledge of building codes and construction systems
Valid New York State driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Preferred
Architectural design and construction document preparation experience
Field measurement and verification skills
