NEOGOV is seeking a Recreation Program Leader for the City of Cincinnati's Athletic Division. This temporary position involves working directly with athletics staff and participants to learn officiating and management skills, as well as implementing recreation activities for youth aged 15-17.

Responsibilities

Gain knowledge of permit processing
Learn to become a Certified OHSAA Official
League Scheduling
Field Maintenance
Sports Management
Fulfill Minimum hourly in service training such as Lindsay's Law, Concussion Training, and CPR
Assist with opening, closing, maintenance checklists and procedures as required
Gain knowledge of Athletics rules and regulations according to the policies of Cincinnati Recreation Commission
Implement recreation activities either by providing direct service or by providing assistance to those implementing recreation activities
Assist in the planning and promotion of an activity / program or be responsible for the development, planning and implementation of an athletic program such as Esports, Community Golf, Camps for Champs, Soccer United, and Ref n Ready

Required

Youth 14 to 18 years of age meeting City residency and household income guidelines
Must have a valid work permit (14 and 15 years old) or parental consent (16 and 17 years old)
Must complete application and submit supplemental parental forms
Must attend 20 hour orientation/training session
